OVULATION PROBLEMS:Most cases of female infertility are caused by problems with   ovulation. Without  ovulation, there are no eggs to be fertilized.
Some signs that a woman is not ovulating normally include irregular or absent menstrual periods.
Ovulation problems are often caused by polycystic Ovarian syndrome (PCOS). PCOS is a hormone imbalance problem which can interfere with normal ovulation. PCOS is the most common cause of female infertility. Primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) is another cause of ovulation problems. POI occurs when a woman’s ovaries stop working normally before she is 40. POI is not the same as early menopause.


  •                   UTERINE FIBROID

Fibroid are non-cancerous (bening) tumors that grow from the muscle layers of the uterus  fibroids, myomas or fibromyomas. The singular of uterine fibroid is uterine fibroma. Fibroid are growths of smooth muscle and fibrous tissue. Fibroid can vary in size,  from that of a bean to as large as a melon.
Fibroid affect at least 20% all women at sometime during their life women aged between 30 and 50 are the most likely to develop fibroids. Overweight and obese women are at significantly higher risk of developing fibroid, compared to women of normal weight.
The Four types of fibroid are:
Intramural fibroid: these are located in the well of the uterus. These are the most common types of fibroids.
Subserosal   fibroid: these are located outside the wall of the uterus. They can develop into pedunculated fibroids (stalks). Subserosal fibroid  can become quite large.
Submucosal fibroid: these are located in the muscle beneath the lining of the uterus wall.
Cervical fibroid : These are located in the neck of the womb (the cervix).
What are the symptoms of uterine fibroid?
Most women have no symptoms. That is why most patients with fibroid  do not know they have them. When symptoms do develop, they may include:
·     Anemia (as  a result of heavy periods0
·     Backache
·     Constipation
·     Discomfort in the lower abdomen (especially if fibroids are large)
·     Frequent urination
·     Heavy painful periods
·     Pain in the legs
·     Painful sex
·     Swelling in the lower abdomen ( especially if fibroid are large).

These may cause the following:
·     Problem during delivery
·     Pregnancy problems
·     Fertility problems
·     Repeated miscarriages.

  •            HYSTERECTOMY
A hysterectomy is an elective surgical procedure that includes the removal of a woman’s uterus. It can also involve the removal of the fallopian tubes, ovaries and cervix.
Many women chose on their own accord to have a hysterectomy either as a form of cancer prevention or a final form of birth control, as you are rendered infertile afterwards. Other women have hysterectomies as they may have a growth on their ovaries, uterus or cervix, such as a non- malignant tumour, called a fibroid, or a cluster of cells that grow abnormally and attach themselves  outside the uterus, known as endometriosis, which causes Immense pain during sex.
Cancer of reproductive organs is another reason many women have a hysterectomy, as is an over-active secretion of hormones which Imbalance the body and its systems.

      
  •        OVARIAN CYST
Ovarian cysts are usually a common and harmless swelling of one or both ovaries. These cysts most often occur in women who are between puberty and menopause, when the ovaries are in high gear propelling out mature eggs.

  •      PREMATURE MENOPAUSE
When menopause occurs before the age of 40, it is referred to as premature    menopause. One medical causes of premature menopause is known as premature ovarian failure.
Other causes of premature menopause include damage to the ovaries by chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments, of surgical removal of the ovaries.

    

  •       TUBER PROBLEM
